Last week, I had skin biopsy done at the dermatologist’s office. I was confident it was nothing. No big deal. I’ve got weird growths all over me and they seem to increase daily as I age. So, yeah, I was a little surprise when I got the call earlier this week that the biopsy showed basal cell carcinoma. Huh? Who would have thought…

As I headed into take a shower after a few hours in the sun, my back was bright red. The rest of me was a little red, but nothing like my lobster colored back. When my husband got home from work and I showed him - he said “there’s a song about wearing sunscreen”. I’m like, umm, seriously? and umm, why in the world would you even know this?
